SOPERA supports companies in realizing service-oriented architectures (SOA). SOPERA ASF, an open source platform for service-oriented integration projects ensures technology neutrality through standard-based plug-ins. SOPERA ASF is based on practical experience and has been rigorously tailored to fulfil enterprise-class requirements. The SOPERA ESB is a powerful distributed service bus that offers Java and .Net support and can integrate both Open Source and commercial software components. The SOPERA integration packages offer maximum adaptability, openness and flexibility. SOPERA also features strong support for service development and business process management.

Sopera

"The SOPERA platform even goes a step further. Its components are integrated via a framework / plug-in concept. The framework is open source to guarantee sustainable independence form vendors."

SOPERA ESB – open as a matter of principle

Distributed Architecture

A bus that isn’t just a bus: SOPERA ESB realizes a distributed, logical Enterprise Service Bus. This concept makes SOPERA highly scalable – and avoids the bottlenecks that are part and parcel of older, centralistic architectures.

Dynamic Mediation

SOPERA ESB is much more than just message exchange, and provides extensive intelligence to mediate service communications. By doing so, SOPERA implements the core SOA concept of “loose coupling” at a technical level – and offers more transparency and flexibility as a result.

Open and Flexible

The Open Source ESB from SOPERA is vendor-independent to the maximum possible extent. Further development is being conducted by Eclipse, the global open source consortium. Consequently, SOPERA ESB is open as a matter of principle - and supports a large number of relevant standards “out-of-the-box”. Plus, the plug-in concept means SOPERA ESB can be extended flexibly using open, but also closed-source components.

Java and .Net Support

The SOPERA ESB supports Java for service development and can also be extended using the Microsoft .Net platform with the SOPERA .Net Option Pack. In this way, ESB creates a bridge between the two most commonly used technology platforms. SOPERA ESB provides businesses with the opportunity to build application landscapes that are really cast from “a single mold” regardless of the technology that is ultimately used to implement the services.
