SpringSource Launches New Partner Program for Consultants and Developers
SAN MATEO, CA—December 10, 2008 – SpringSource, the company behind Spring, the de facto standard in enterprise Java, today announced the SpringSource Consulting Provider Program for individuals, smaller consulting firms and development providers that are building Spring-powered applications for their clients.
The SpringSource Consulting Provider Program enables consulting providers to offer a higher quality of service to their clients by leveraging the enterprise-class features and support of SpringSource certified software to build Spring-powered applications. Participants will have access to all bug fixes, updates, enhancements and security alerts, as well as to SpringSource’s comprehensive Support Portal.
When SpringSource Consulting Provider clients are ready to move an application into production, SpringSource collaborates with providers to offer SpringSource production software licenses and support. Through this collaboration, SpringSource and the consulting provider can mutually mitigate disruptions from unnecessary software upgrades and meet the client’s open source software governance policy requirements. Providers also benefit from a referral bonus program for referring opportunities to SpringSource.
