Product End of Life

All software products have a defined support lifetime.

  1. A major Release Version will be supported for 36 months from the date of first release. Only the latest Maintenance level in a Version is supported.
  2. In the event that support for a Version would normally expire under clause (a), but no later Version of the same product has been released, support for the old Version is extended until such a time as the new Version is released. This is an exceptional situation.
  3. In the event that support for a Version would normally expire under clause (a), and no further Versions are planned, a product may be end-of-lifed. The decision to end-of-life a product must be announced to customers 12 months ahead of the shut-down date. Depending on the timing of such an announcement, support will be extended to cover this grace period.
