The World’s Biggest Spring Technologies Conference Returns to Hollywood, FL December 1-4, 2008

SAN MATEO, Calif.,—September 4, 2008—SpringSource, the company behind Spring,the de facto standard in enterprise Java, and a leading provider of infrastructure software,today announced that registration is open for SpringOne Americas 2008, its fourth annual technology conference being held at the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood, Florida, on December 1-4, 2008.

Having drawn thousands of developers, architects, CIOs and CTOs since its inception, SpringOne Americas, formerly known as The Spring Experience, is designed to support the Spring and SpringSource developer and technical thought leader community.  SpringOne Americas provides an open forum to share insights on current development challenges and future directions around Spring, as well as to showcase the latest advancements in Spring technology.

Keynote sessions by Rod Johnson, the ‘creator and father of Spring,’ John Rymer, industry analyst from Forrester Research, and Adrian Colyer, the chief technology officer for SpringSource, will headline the conference. The four-day conference will also feature more than 70 sessions split into five parallel tracks that address all aspects of Spring, including web architecture, enterprise integration and large-scale production systems. Other sessions will be led by many of the core developers of the Spring Framework and Apache projects including Juergen Hoeller, Rob Harrop, Ben Alex, and Filip Hanik.
