Chris Beams

Chris Beams is a Senior Software Engineer with SpringSource. His work developing enterprise applications in the digital media, automotive and telecom sectors led him to discover Spring in 2004 and he has used and evangelized it ever since. Since joining SpringSource in 2007 as a consultant, Chris has trained and advised dozens of teams and hundreds of professional developers on the effective use of Spring-related technology. He has spoken on best practices with the Spring container at The Spring Experience, SpringOne and other international conferences. Chris was responsible for a number of features in Spring 3.0 including Java Configuration support, and today he works full-time as a member the core Spring Framework team.
