SpringSource Broadens Reach And Increases Customer Value With New Partner Program
SAN MATEO, Calif., March 11, 2008—SpringSource, the company behind the ubiquitous Spring Portfolio, the leading enterprise Java™ application platform, today announced the SpringSource Partner Program to expand access to Spring and Apache expertise and solutions on a global basis. The program enables SpringSource partners to leverage their offerings along with SpringSource products and services, joint marketing and sales assistance to drive revenue growth and customer success.

Companies can join the SpringSource Partner Program as an Authorized Reseller Partner, a Certified Solution Partner, a Certified Training Partner, or a Systems Integrator Partner. All partners receive early access to SpringSource subscription software, including product roadmap specifics, as well as technical knowledge transfer and joint marketing initiatives. In addition, each SpringSource Partner category has different levels enabling a partner to formalize a relationship with SpringSource that best meets its business needs and capabilities.
- Systems Integrator Partners leverage their domain knowledge, technology expertise and implementation skills to deliver high-value Spring and Apache technology solutions.
- Certified Solution Partners integrate or bundle their product with Spring and SpringSource software to provide a complete and SpringSource certified solution with SpringSource marketing and technical support assistance.
- Certified Training Partners are authorized to market, sell and deliver SpringSource training courses in select markets or geographies with trainers certified by SpringSource.
- SpringSource Authorized Reseller Partners are authorized to market, sell and provide support assistance for SpringSource products in a specific geography with sales and support assistance from SpringSource.
Since the inception of the partner program, SpringSource has added numerous partners, including GigaSpaces, SunGard, and Capgemini, among others. The SpringSource Partner Program provides additional opportunities for partners who help support Spring and Apache technologies to increase revenues and drive differentiation.
