SPR-101: Spring for Beginners

Spring for Beginners is a two-day training course focused toward Java and JEE developers who need a brief, yet comprehensive, course to get them “up and running “ and writing Spring-powered applications in as little time as possible.  This course covers:

  • The Spring Lightweight Container Architecture, including Inversion of Control
  • Building domain-driven design oriented Applications using Spring
  • Configuring Spring Applications with XML and Annotations
  • Using Best Practices inside Spring Applications
  • Testing Spring powered Applications
  • Effective data access with JDBC
  • Introducing JPA into a Spring Application
  • Declarative transaction management
In this course, students build a Spring-powered Java application that demonstrates the ease of Java development by using the Spring Framework in an intensely productive, hands-on setting.
