Daryl Heinz
Daryl began his professional career as a research mathematician for the Department of Defense. After leaving the DoD, he obtained his Masters degree and created a software consultancy specializing in distributed object technologies such as C++ and Java-based CORBA. After 10 years working both as an independent consultant and employee for Borland/Inprise, Daryl joined a small JEE/BEA/Weblogic-focused consultancy called The New Customware. In 2004 Daryl was hired by JBoss, Inc where he became the lead trainer and then the Training Manager for North America. In 2005 he was promoted to the Director of Training. After the acquisition of JBoss by Red Hat, Inc., Daryl continued in an expanded role. In 2007, Daryl came to Interface21 to serve as the Director of Training.
Daryl and his wife alternate residences between western Maryland and the east coast of Florida. During the drive between states, they share a cramped Hundai Santa Fe with two rescued Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Jessica and Emily.
